Maybush Inn
Goode Architecture obtained statutory permissions for works to this eighteenth century public house. Situated on the banks of the river Thames, the building's position means it is vulnerable to flooding. The building works included installation of multiple internal drains and a system of underground sump pumps. Interior finishes were selected for their resilience to flood water damage, and underfloor heating built into the concrete floor is designed to speed up the drying-out process.
