Rear extension to a mid-terrace 19th century cottage in Bushey. The property has all the traditional charm and character of a cottage; small window openings, low floor-to-ceiling heights, low pitched roof and an outrigger extension housing the kitchen and bathroom.

The brief was to extend and refurbish the existing kitchen to the rear of the property to create a more generous, light-filled kitchen and dining area with an improved connection to the garden. By increasing the living space to the rear this will free up the current dining area to be used as a home office with new full height storage and desk space.
